Doll Making Workshop

In this fun workshop, we will explore handmade dolls

of  the 19th and 20th century, the materials they were made from, and popular fashion of the time. With scraps of cloth, bottles , buttons, corn husks, and objects found around the home. Each participant will make their own doll to have and cherish.

Storytelling

Taking part in the oral traditions of storytelling.  I share stories that I’ve learned and fell in love with that heal and inspire. Multicultural stories from Africa, the Caribbean, Japan, South America and the United States that are both familiar and new. I dress in character and use hand crafted puppets and collected dolls from around the world to enhance our journey into these stories.
